| The SOHA1 factory's QC department involves three separate laboratories (of chemistry, physics, and microbiology) and the in-process QC branch. Enjoying its expert personnel's technical and scientific knowledge along with modern laboratory equipment, all the raw materials, finished-and semi-finished products are being sampled adopting the state-of-the-art methods, thoroughly and precisely tested; if such test results comply with domestic and global standards, they are given consent to go on to the next step. The department is, inter alia, responsible for setting the test methods and procedures based on BP, USP and the corporate in-house standards. Other areas of its activities include: measurement of residual ETO via GC method after sterilization and prior to release of the products, tests for function of specific products, tests for sterility of finished products, measurement of endotoxines in finished products, clean-room assessment tests including particle count, microbial count, organization of disinfection plans for production facilities as a contribution to clean-room, sharpness and penetration tests on medical needles with specific equipment. Experts of this department, by attending various health centers, become aware of the comments and suggestions of patients, physicians and other healthcare workers and consumers face to face; make use of such comments and suggestions to enhance the products quality; via statistical methodology study the customers' satisfaction on the graphs; and through continuous corrections take steps forward towards manufacturing the best. | |
