Dialyzer Filter - Low Flux
| The heart of hemodialysis is dialyzer and this medical device is used for the treatment of the patients suffering from chronic renal failure (CRF). | | |
| | Hemodialysis is a form of dialysis in which, the patient’s blood is pumped through the blood compartment of a dialyzer i.e. a semi-permeable membrane, exposing it to the dialysis fluid. The cleansed blood is then returned via an extracorporeal circuit back to the body. Ultrafiltration occurs by increasing the hydrostatic pressure gradient across the dialyzer membrane. This pressure gradient causes water and dissolved solutes to move from blood to dialysate . Because of the high sensitivity of this product, we control the production process every step of the way –from raw materials to the finished dialyzer – according to international regulations (ISO 9001 -2000 ,ISO 13485 -2003 , GMP and the European Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC). The dialyzers, in compliance with ISO 8637, are available in two different types: Low flux & High flux | |
| | Low flux Specifications: 1) Sterile, Single use, Non toxic, Pyrogen free and Biocompatible 2) Adequate performance - adequate removal of water and uraemic toxins 3) Dialyzer housing: Transparent polycarbonate making it possible to watch the blood flow running through the fibers. 4) Headers: Transparent brown polycarbonate 5) Fiber: Low flux biocompatible polysulfone (PSU) fibers. 6) Potting material: polyurethane 7) 0-ring: Silicon rubber |
